THE NECESSARY STUFF

Legal stuff.

Privacy, terms, and the important limits around Antiwhelm courses and content. All in one place.

Privacy policyWebsite termsCourse disclaimer

WORKING COPY

Before this goes live.

This page still needs the legal entity name and mailing address. We also need to confirm the refund and return windows, current service providers and cookie tools, governing law and venue, and whether any course will collect information directly from children under 13.

The liability, indemnity, dispute, minors, and privacy language should receive a final attorney review once those business decisions are set.

01 / PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026

This policy explains how Antiwhelm collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit antiwhelm.com, purchase a product, enroll in a course, subscribe to The Antiwhelm Note, read our articles, or otherwise use our services.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Antiwhelm, we may collect:

  • Contact information, including your name, email address, phone number, and mailing, shipping, or billing address.
  • Account and course information, including login details, enrollment, progress, completion, answers, comments, or messages.
  • Order, transaction, refund, exchange, and customer-support information.
  • Information provided by a parent, guardian, school, court, diversion program, organization, or other authorized purchaser.
  • Technical and usage information, including IP address, approximate location, device, browser, referring page, pages viewed, links clicked, dates and times, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic information.

Please do not submit highly sensitive information—such as medical information, government identification numbers, financial-account passwords, or information about another person—unless we specifically request it and explain how to provide it safely.

Payments

Payment information is collected and processed by our payment provider. We generally do not receive or store your full payment-card number or security code. We may receive limited transaction details, such as payment type, billing address, amount, status, refund information, and the last four digits of a card.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create and manage accounts, course access, progress, and completion.
  • Process payments, fulfill and ship orders, and manage returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • Send requested newsletters, course communications, service messages, and updates.
  • Respond to questions and provide customer support.
  • Improve, secure, and understand our website, courses, products, and services.
  • Prevent fraud or misuse, maintain records, meet legal obligations, and protect legal rights and safety.

We may also use aggregated or reasonably de-identified information for analysis and improvement. We do not use course participation to decide a person’s eligibility for employment, education, credit, housing, insurance, or government benefits.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, courses, payments, email, shipping, customer support, analytics, security, cloud storage, and communications. They may use the information only for authorized purposes, subject to applicable law and their agreements with us.

If a parent, guardian, school, court, diversion program, or other organization purchases or administers a course, we may share limited enrollment, participation, or completion information with that authorized purchaser or administrator.

We may also disclose information when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, connected with a business transfer, or directed by you.

We do not sell personal information

We do not sell personal information for money or knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by law.

Cookies and similar technology

We may use cookies and similar technology to keep the website and course platform working, maintain sessions and carts, remember preferences, understand traffic and performance, measure communications, and help prevent fraud or security problems.

You can manage cookies through available site controls, your browser or device settings, or a supported opt-out signal where required by law. Disabling cookies may affect website, account, checkout, or course functions.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or contractual obligations. When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it when immediate deletion is not practical.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that a security incident will never occur.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain marketing; or complain to a privacy regulator.

California residents may have additional rights where California privacy law applies, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and receive equal service when exercising those rights.

To make a request, email less@antiwhelm.com with your name, the email address connected with Antiwhelm, the request you are making, and enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity or authority before responding.

Children and teens

Antiwhelm offers or may offer educational content for children and teens. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without any notice and verifiable parental consent required by law. If we learn that we collected such information without required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

A parent or legal guardian may contact us to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of a child’s information, withdraw consent, or refuse further collection where applicable. We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority.

International use

Antiwhelm and its service providers may process information in countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we use an appropriate legal basis and safeguards for processing and international transfers. These may include contract performance, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful mechanisms.

Third parties, changes, and contact

Our website and materials may link to third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their practices.

We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to less@antiwhelm.com.

02 / TERMS

Website Terms of Service and Conditions of Use

Effective date: September 28, 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of antiwhelm.com and related courses, downloads, newsletters, articles, products, tools, and services. By using the website, creating an account, purchasing something, subscribing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

What Antiwhelm provides

Antiwhelm provides educational and informational content and products, which may include online courses, digital materials, articles, newsletters, books, cards, journals, physical products, and resources for individuals, families, schools, courts, organizations, and other groups. We may add, change, pause, or discontinue an offering.

Accounts, registration, and minors

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. A person under 18 may use a course or service only with the permission, supervision, and responsibility of a parent or legal guardian. Anyone purchasing or registering for a minor confirms that they are authorized to do so and accept these Terms for themselves and the minor.

Where an account is required, you agree to provide accurate information, keep login details secure, use the account only for an authorized person or organization, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Do not share an individual account unless we expressly allow it.

Purchases and access

You agree to pay the price and disclosed taxes, shipping, processing, or other charges shown at checkout. Payments may be handled by a third-party provider. We may refuse or cancel an order because of unavailability, an error, suspected fraud, a Terms violation, or legal or operational necessity. If we cancel after payment, we will provide any refund required by law.

Course and digital access is for the purchaser or authorized participant and is generally for personal use unless a product page or written group agreement says otherwise. Access may be time-limited, updated, replaced, discontinued, suspended for a Terms violation, or affected by device and internet compatibility.

Refunds, returns, and shipping

The refund, cancellation, return, exchange, and shipping terms shown on the applicable product page, checkout, or purchase confirmation apply to that purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits a right that cannot legally be waived. If an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or not delivered as promised, contact less@antiwhelm.com with the order details.

Personal license and intellectual property

Antiwhelm gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use purchased or provided digital content for the authorized personal, educational, or organizational purpose stated at purchase.

Unless we give written permission, you may not share logins; copy, record, distribute, resell, sublicense, publicly post, or commercially exploit paid materials; remove ownership notices; create a competing product from the materials; or use them to train or improve an artificial-intelligence system or dataset.

The Antiwhelm name, logo, branding, writing, courses, tools, designs, products, website, code, and related intellectual property belong to Antiwhelm or its licensors. No ownership transfers to you.

Acceptable use

Use the website and services lawfully. Do not harm, harass, defraud, impersonate, infringe rights, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls, gain unauthorized access, disrupt systems, scrape or systematically copy content, publicly repost paid materials, or use the services to build a competing commercial offering.

Educational content and results

Antiwhelm provides general education and information, not professional advice or emergency assistance. We do not guarantee a particular result. The fuller limits for courses, digital safety, minors, mental health topics, third-party services, and use of educational material appear in the Course and Educational Content Disclaimer below.

Third-party services

Third-party websites, applications, platforms, payment tools, or services are controlled by their providers. A link or reference does not guarantee or endorse their availability, accuracy, security, privacy, or practices. Review their terms and privacy policies before using them.

Messages, feedback, and submissions

Only send material you have the right to provide. Do not send confidential, highly sensitive, unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or infringing material. We may review and use feedback to improve Antiwhelm, but we will ask before publicly using your name, likeness, review, or testimonial for promotion unless you have already given clear permission.

Privacy and communications

Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. If you subscribe to a newsletter, you may unsubscribe through the link in the email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary purchase, account, security, or service messages.

Availability, warranties, and responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, content, courses, products, tools, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, complete security, compatibility with every device, correction of every defect, or a particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Antiwhelm is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from use of the services. Any total liability for a paid product or service will not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

You are responsible for losses or claims caused by your unlawful misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, violation of another person’s rights, or material you submit. Nothing here excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Parents, schools, courts, and organizations

Parents and guardians are responsible for permissions, supervision, suitability, and a minor’s use of Antiwhelm materials. A school, court, program, organization, or other institution may provide access to multiple people only under an expressly stated group license or separate written agreement. The supervising adult or organization remains responsible for required notices, consents, accommodations, and participant supervision.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access when we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, payment failed or was reversed, information was inaccurate, use creates a legal or security risk, or suspension is required by law or a third party. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and other terms that logically continue will survive termination.

Disputes, changes, and general terms

Before starting a formal dispute, contact less@antiwhelm.com with a description of the issue and the resolution requested so both sides can try to resolve it informally. Any governing-law, venue, arbitration, or class-action terms will be added only after the open decisions identified at the top of this working page are finalized.

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version and effective date here. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the rest will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Questions about these Terms may be sent to less@antiwhelm.com.
